This is almost always due to not paying enough attention to the three core components that separate an ordinary dashboard from extraordinary. In this session, you will learn how to bring all three pieces together to deliver sleek, valuable and user-friendly SAP Dashboards that your executives will love.
What will be discussed:
1) User Interface: Nobody wants to look at an ugly dashboard. The best dashboards integrate custom graphics, loading screens and sleek controls, all staying true to their own corporate style.
2) User Experience: Dashboards shouldn't have to come with a 50 page manual. They should be intuitive, easy-to-use and guide the user towards the answer they're looking for, even before they know the question.
3) Business Value: Far too often dashboard projects fail before they've even begun to be built. Understanding how to properly lead business requirements gathering sessions will ensure the dashboard you're building will provide real value to its users.
Take-Away Benefits:
1) Learn to create and integrate custom graphics into your dashboards using the free tool paint.NET.
2) Learn to create an intuitive dashboard design based on the way the human mind processes visual input.
3) Learn to extract valuable requirements from your users, even when they themselves don't know what they want.

HollyFrontier implemented SAP several years ago. They had identified gaps in the utilization of SAP and in correctly following the processes that SAP sets forth in some areas. The opportunity to improve SAP utilization, follow standardized business processes, and increase overall ROI from the use of SAP was recognized. One of the key success factors to accomplish this was to build a Super User framework that would be piloted, assessed and repeated throughout the organization. In partnership with Abreon, HollyFrontier created an approach to building and sustaining Super User Communities throughout the organization.
In order to ensure success, HollyFrontier leveraged a creative approach to ensure the right people were engaged, the end user community was aware of the program, the super users received the education required to be successful with their new role, and rewards and recognition programs were put in place to help gain momentum and ensure sustainability long term. Key elements of the program included:
We aren’t finished yet. As the program continues to grow beyond its initial stage, HollyFrontier plans to implement measurement tools to provide management empirical and statistical data. HollyFrontier has purchased and is implementing KNOA to measure gaps and areas of risk as well as opportunities for immediate improvement. This data will also be used to demonstrate improvement and identify focus topics for future improvement.

SharePoint’s flexibility is also its downfall. As the demand grows, so do the calls for wider integrations:
· Third party add-ons
· User/departmental customizations
· Interconnectivity
As these extra features are added to keep up with demand, the product becomes more and more complex. As complexity increases, so does the likelihood of failure. Unfortunately, creating development or test environments for the typical enterprise scale SharePoint environment is very difficult if not impossible. Typical development and test environments that fail to reflect production data lead to unsuccessful deployments, costly rollbacks, and long weekends.
The award-winning advanced development and testing environment from Kubisys replicates SharePoint application environments from production, allowing you to create complete and accurate SharePoint environments for development and testing with ease. With smart automation, Kubisys eliminates configuration drift and unplanned outages due to configuration changes. With a few simple clicks your organization can refresh environments to keep settings up-to-date on-demand.
Find out how developers utilize a self-service portal to provision their own environment as needed, gaining new levels of understanding as to how actual production data and settings are impacted by changes to the software or environment.
Test and develop faster, better and cheaper. Never have to settle for two out of three again.
